I'm learning guitar and this song is on my list. The intro is kind of baffling me, though. The radio version, after the intro, sounds like a simple chord strummed down up down pause up. Am I close?

Used to sing this with my son when he was a toddler. He's turning 16 this year. Memories.

This is one of my favorite songs among the contemporary worship songs! I've been trying to play exactly the way Aaron Shust plays and it took me so long to play exactly! Our worship team used to do this in D. I let the piano do the intro, and I just played open chords until the chorus - then kicked in some crunch with barre chords. No capo - hate 'em.
